Investing in renewable energy
AP Bæredygtig is based, among other things, on investments that contribute to the green transition of energy production.
Renewable energy in India
- AP Bæredygtig invests, among other things, in two wind farms and four solar cell projects in India. The wind farms have a total capacity of 210 MW and the solar cells have a capacity of 47 MW. This corresponds to the consumption of electricity in more than 50,000 Indian households per year.
Climate-reduced concrete
- AP Ejendomme aims to transition to a reduced carbon cement type, FutureCem, in all future construction projects. AP Ejendomme is planning to build around 250,000 square meters in the coming years. FutureCem will be used where technically and economically feasible.
Social bonds
- AP Pension invests in social bonds issued by the International Development Association (IDA). IDA is part of the World Bank and has special expertise in projects that contribute to sustainable development in the world’s poorest countries. IDA is one of the largest and most important donors behind development projects in the world’s 74 poorest countries.
