Find answers to the frequently asked questions
When will the Assembly of Delegates be dissolved?
The Assembly of Delegates will be dissolved on 14 April 2027, the day before the Annual General Meeting. From 15 April, it is the Board of Representatives that will be entitled to vote at general meetings.
How do you become a representative?
To become a representative, you must belong to one of the three electoral groups described in the election regulations here.
You may only stand as a candidate in one electoral group. If there are more candidates than seats in the relevant electoral group, an election will be held in which all AP Pension customers are eligible to vote.
When will the election to the Board of Representatives take place?
The registration of candidates takes place in September. Before the registration period begins, all customers will receive an e-mail containing information about the registration process and the election. Candidates create a profile, which is displayed on AP Pension’s website. Once the deadline for standing as a representative has expired, an election will be held if there are more candidates than seats available in the electoral group or groups up for election.
What does it take to be elected to the Board of Representatives?
The Association’s election regulations set out the rules regarding who is eligible to stand as a representative. Generally speaking, you must either be an employer in a company that has a company pension scheme with AP Pension, be a policyholder with a pension scheme with AP Pension or have a pension scheme with AP Pension under which you are currently receiving benefits.
How does voting for the election to the Board of Representatives work?
You will automatically be allocated your own vote if you are a candidate in the election for the Board of Representatives in electoral group B or C. All customers may vote for a candidate belonging to the same electoral group.
Electoral group A, representing the employers, votes with voting weights corresponding to the number of policies covered by the company pension scheme with AP Pension. Voting takes place electronically via a link and login details, which will be sent by e-mail to all customers.
Where can I find information about the board elections?
Elections to the Board of Directors take place every year at the general meeting. AP Pension will issue a notice convening the general meeting in accordance with the provisions of article 7. The notice will explain how to stand for election to the Board of Directors. To do so, you must have been elected as a representative.
