What you are covered for
The dental insurance covers expenses such as:
- Dental fillers
- X-ray examinations
- Anesthesia
- Root canal treatment
- Periodontal treatment
- Surgery
- Prosthetics cover
- Occlusal splints
All teeth except missing teeth are covered from the start of insurance. Pre-existing conditions are covered. Dental records are not required.
Previous claims and treatment can be covered, even treatment that has already been planned. The basic cover includes reimbursement for fillings, crowns, implants and many other treatments. If you are a member of Sygeforsikringen “danmark”, we will handle both the cover and reimbursement of costs.
The insurance covers up to DKK 30,000 per year.
You can also co-insure your cohabiting partner and children. Please note that they must be registered together with you and within 30 days of agreeing the policy. If they do not already have dental insurance through AP Pension, there will be a restriction of benefit for three months.
